This is an update of the NEPAD guide 2010, which is a joint publication of the NEPAD Agency and the NEPAD Business Foundation. The publication acts as a Guide to the status of the implementation of NEPAD programmes across the continent.
The aim of this seminar was to raise the knowledge about the role of the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), an African Union strategic framework for pan-African socio-economic development.
The French Embassy in South Africa, on behalf of the French Ministry of Agriculture, awarded Dr. Ibrahim Assane Mayaki with the National Order of Agriculture Merit for his commitment and achievements in African development.
Adopted in Lusaka in July 2001 during the 37th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the OAU, NEPAD, created from the merger of the Millennium Action Plan and the Omega Plan, will be 10 years old in July 2011.
