The ad hoc Committee reviewed the situation in Libya, in light of the update provided by the AU Commissioner for Peace and Security. The Committee also interacted with the representatives of the Government of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.

The goal of this meeting was to emphasize the need for Africa as a continent to take action and take leadership of its development.

The Cluster’s mission is to provide coordinated and effective support to the agriculture, food security and rural development agenda of the AUC, NEPAD, RECs and ultimately the countries themselves.
