FAO Committee of Fisheries 30th Session Report

The Committee on Fisheries (COFI) of the FAO held its 30th session in Rome from 9July to 13 July 2012. This provided an opportunity for the NEPAD Agency to continueon the successes of previous COFI sessions, with the emphasis on internationalcooperation. This also served as a bolstering of the “African Voice”. The role of theAgency involved the preparation for, and providing support to FAO African memberstates, during the meeting, as well as the organization of a side event and thecoordination of local, regional and international partners.
