The aim this meeting is to strengthen and accelerate the fisheries and aquaculture sector in terms of their governance, management and adaptability to climate change.

The 7th CAADP Partnership Platform session was kick-started in Yaoundé, Cameroon under the theme “Mutual Accountability in the Formulation and Implementation of country CAADP investment plans.”

The preceding roundtable discussion focused on how to take the CAADP principles forward. In line with that the government of the DRC is expected to meet the renewal of commitment by the AU heads of state and government and mainly the Maputo Declaration.
