Policy Training Programme

The objective of this programme is to strengthen national agricultural policy systems within the CAADP framework by building capacities for policy analysis, formulation and implementation at national and regional levels. This objective is to be achieved through policy training workshops.

What's happening in the programme?

The programme will sponsor policy training workshops in all aspects of the policy cycle. These workshops will review existing national fertilizer and seed policies in order to identify key issues that need to be addressed to facilitate the development and implementation of evidence-based policies. The outcome of the workshops will be a policy action implementation plan.

What progress has been made so far?

Work is going ahead on fertilizer policy advocacy training workshops in Mozambique and Ghana.
