The one-day event featured a high-level Colloquium and Congress of Stakeholders to brainstorm on the future of Africa.

Specifically, the Colloquium provides a platform for candid exchange on NEPAD as the African-owned development strat­egy adopted in 2001 to drive the Continent’s political and socio-economic transformation.

The Colloquium was divided into sessions relating to:

• Africa’s current development pathway from NEPAD perspective
• The Future – Taking forward Africa’s opportunities into the next decade

• Launching of books and publications on Africa’s development
• Leadership Cafe for Colloquium Panelists and Special Guests
• Awards for African Youth & Women Entrepreneur/decoration of ex-NEPAD CEOs
