The Vaal Consensus: Partnering the media for Africa’s development

Conscious of the impact of globalization particularly the current global financial crisis on Africa, senior media practitioners met in The Vaal, Gauteng, South Africa from 19 – 20 February 2009 to hold a regional media dialogue on the African Union’s New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) Programme under the UN cluster on advocacy and communication.
