The 16th Africa Partnership Forum (APF) was held in Paris, France on 21st April 2011, with the theme: “Economic Growth, Private Investment and Job Creation”. The African side, under the auspices of the NEPAD Steering Committee held pre-APF consultative meetings on 19-20 April focusing on the African positions on the APF theme; finalization of the AUC-NPCA accountability report on assessment of Africa/G8 partnership commitments; and the Draft Rules of Procedure for the NEPAD governance structures.
The CEO led the NEPAD team to the Paris APF and actively engaged in these processes, including the discussion on the thematic issue of Infrastructure development and regional integration, as pre-conditions for successful economic growth.
