Kindly be advised that the Third Ordinary Session of the Second Parliament of the Pan African Parliament (PAP) will be held during the period October 04 - 15, 2010 at the PAP situated at Gallagher Estate, Richards Drive, Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Please find below a draft programme of the Sessions as well as a draft Media Briefings programme for your information and the detailed draft programme of the opening day’s proceedings.
Dr. Ibrahim Assane Mayaki, CEO of the NEPAD Agency will be making opening remarks on the first day.
On the second day, Tuesday October 05, 2010, a the 50th Anniversary of the independence of 17 African states will be celebrated. A detailed draft programme is also attached.
Accreditation, which has already started, will continue daily from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. including the weekend. You, or the journalist(s) who is/are attending on behalf of your organization, need to come in person for accreditation and you will need your ID/Passport and/or your press card. If you are coming with any equipment, please send us a list of the equipment before you arrive at the PAP. It would be most helpful to us if you could also e-mail us the name(s) and ID number(s) before your/their arrival at PAP to info@panafricanparliament.org [2] copying my e-mail address below.
