The NEPAD Heads of State and Government Orientation Committee (HSGOC) meeting is taking place in Addis Ababa today, ahead of the 20^th African Union Summit this weekend. This is an organ made up of 20 African leaders who provide policy guidance and monitor progress on the implementation of NEPAD. On the agenda of the HSGOC is an assessment of the NEPAD progress report, which looks at the AU Agency’s key activities and achievements in the last year.
