The New Partnership for Africa’s Development is 10 years old

Adopted in Lusaka in July 2001 during the 37th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the OAU, NEPAD, created from the merger of the Millennium Action Plan and the Omega Plan, will be 10 years old in July 2011.
