The APDEv was officially launched by the AU on Sunday,27 March 2011 during the 4th AU/ECA Joint Annual Meetings of Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The AU formally launched the Africa Platform for Development Effectiveness (APDev). The APDev is the connecting mechanism on Aid Effectiveness and South-South Cooperation with Capacity Development as the core driver for development effectiveness.
This report will be published as a product of APDEv, under the auspices of the Africa Union, and the technical leadership of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency as a multi-stakeholder and agency product.
