Representatives from the African Union's programme of the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) recently met with members of the U.S. Congress to brief them on the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program (www.nepad-caadp.net). VOA's Carolyn Turner reports. The NEPAD representatives included Prof. Richard Mkandawire and Mrs. Estherine Lisinge-Fotabong. The briefing was held during the September 2010 UN-MDGs Summit sessions.
