The post-compact review provides guidelines and milestones that need to be fulfilled in order to realise implementation of Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) (write out in full)  after the signing of a CAADP Compact. It sets the road map to facilitate successful implementation of effective agricultural programmes at country-level, building on the pre-compact engagements and foundations to create capacity and systems which will accomplish national and regional agricultural development goals. The first section of the guidelines outline the general contents of a national agriculture sector investment plan. In the second section, the recommended processes of advancing from a compact to an authorised investment plan are detailed. The document concludes with the criteria used in reviewing of investment plans.
