NSF disbursed funds to three organisations working in the Republic of Benin towards supporting projects on capacity building programme for women members’ organisations, gender equality in access to the benefits of water, sanitation and sanitation services and popularisation, ratification and domestication of the African Union Protocol on rights of women.

The projects that were supported in the Republic of Benin include; REPAO (Le Réseau sur les Politiques de Pêche en Afrique de l’Ouest); EAA (Eau et Assainissement pour l’Afrique) and Equality Now. In total, 37318 women and men were reached in the advancement of women rights and gender equality and human rights.
