In the Republic of Guinea, funds were disbursed towards supporting projects on the socio-economic integration of women through the establishment and development of income generating activities, protection and advancement of African women’s rights and capacity building programme for women organisations.

The organisations that were supported in the Republic of Guinea, include; SARA (Structure d’Appui aux Résaux d’Agricultrices et Agriculteurs), Equality Now and REPAO (Le Réseau sur les Politiques de Pêche en Afrique de l’Ouest). In total, 2310 women and men were reached through the advancement of women rights and gender equality and human rights projects.
