In the Republic of Kenya, funds were disbursed towards supporting ten projects on economic empowerment of abused and violated, women's human rights, enhancing women’s capacity to participate in resource mobilisation and investment programmes enhancing the engagement of women in Kenyan electoral politics and others.

The organisations that were assisted in the Republic of Kenya, include WRAP (Women's Rights Awareness Program), CREAW (Centre for Rights Education and Awareness), VWAG (Vinya Wa Aka Group), ECWD (Education Centre for Women in Democracy), FIDA (Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya), AWDF (African Women’s Development Fund), Equality Now, CLEAR (The Centre for Land, Economy and Rights of Women), AFFRO (African Women Foundation), FDC (Foundation for Community Development) and Graça Machel Trust Fund. In total, 7093 women and men were reached through the advancement of women rights and gender equality and human rights projects.
