NEPAD CEO Dr Ibrahim Mayaki on Friday March 22 hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Congo, His Excellency Léonard Emile Ognimba and Dr Martial Ikounga, the newly elected Commissioner of the African Union in charge of Human Resources, Science and Technology, at the NEPAD offices in Midrand. The distinguish guests received a briefing from NEPAD on its Science and Technology, Health and the Education and Training Programme.

During this meeting, Dr Mayaki also discussed the upcoming BRICS Leaders- Africa Dialogue Forum Retreat scheduled to take place in Durban, South Africa on the 27th March, 2013.
