"We are committed to strengthening partnerships with NEPAD" says Japanese Embassy’s First Secretary

The First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in South Africa, Mr Koji Tahara, today paid a courtesy visit to NEPAD Agency offices in Midrand, South Africa.

During the visit, Mr Tahara and representatives from the NEPAD Agency discussed ways to strengthen collaborations between the Agency and the Government of Japan. NEPAD’s role in the implementation of the outcomes of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development V (TICAD V) was also on the agenda.

“The NEPAD Agency remains committed to the continued relations with the Government of Japan and we appreciate the Japanese support to the African Development agenda” said Mr Bello, on behalf of the NEPAD Agency CEO
