Description : Hydropower programme for power supply to Lesotho and power export to South Africa

Expected Results : Both countries involved in this project will benefit – South Africa is ensuring water security for its highly-populated Gauteng Province, while Lesotho will enjoy significant royalty payments from South Africa. Furthermore, 3 500-4 000 jobs will be created through this project.
