This report serves as an account of the progress made by ABNE in 16 African countries, the West Africa Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) and ECOWAS, in 2015. In the report, a brief reference is made to implementation challenges faced in some countries. By the end of the reporting period, ABNE managed to successfully execute most of its planned activities to support the development of workable bio-safety frameworks. Significant milestones were reached in Ethiopia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Swaziland and Zambia.
