There are four NEPAD programmes being implemented in the IGAD REC.

1. CAADP

• The Agency deployed technical and financial support to the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD), where Regional Agriculture Investment Plans were developed. 

1. Gender, Climate Change and Agriculture Support Programme (GCCASP)

• IGAD was involved in the consultations that informed the design of the project; and will continue to work closely with NEPAD in up-scaling the project to more African countries.
